Behind every widow is a story of courage, strength, and survival. Yet, many widows in our communities face untold hardship — struggling with poverty, social isolation, emotional trauma, and lack of economic opportunities.

At SIWCANS Care Foundation (SCF), we believe that every widow deserves dignity, empowerment, and the chance to rebuild her life. Our Widow Empowerment Program was created to bring light to their darkest moments — to transform pain into purpose, and despair into determination.

What We Do

To empower widows with the tools, knowledge, and opportunities they need to live independently, provide for their families, and regain confidence in themselves and their future.

Skills Acquisition & Vocational Training

We organize practical training programs in tailoring, catering, bead-making, agriculture, soap production, and other crafts. These trainings equip widows with income-generating skills that enable them to become financially independent.

Financial Support & Microcredit Access

Through partnerships and donor support, SCF provides small-scale business funding and grants to widows to start or grow their businesses, helping them regain economic stability and self-reliance.

Emotional & Psychological Support

Losing a partner can be emotionally devastating. SCF offers counseling, peer support groups, and community outreach programs to help widows heal emotionally and socially reintegrate with confidence.

Advocacy & Awareness

We raise awareness about the rights of widows, combat discrimination, and promote inclusion and respect in society. SCF stands as a voice for widows — ensuring they are heard, valued, and supported.

Health & Welfare Programs

SCF also provides widows with access to basic healthcare services, wellness education, and medical screenings to ensure their physical and mental well-being.
