Education is the foundation of every great society. At SIWCANS Care Foundation (SCF), we believe that access to quality education is a fundamental human right — not a privilege for a few. Unfortunately, many children and youth in the Volta Region and beyond still face barriers such as poverty, gender inequality, and lack of infrastructure that limit their educational opportunities.

What We Do

Our Education Initiative seeks to bridge this gap by providing access, support, and empowerment through inclusive educational programs designed to nurture potential and build brighter futures.

Access to Basic Education

We work with local schools and communities to ensure that every child — regardless of background — can go to school and learn in a safe, supportive environment. Through scholarships, educational materials, and mentorship programs, SCF helps remove financial barriers to learning.

Girl-Child Education & Gender Equality

We are deeply committed to promoting gender equality in education. Our girl-child empowerment projects aim to keep girls in school, raise awareness on the importance of female education, and eliminate cultural or social obstacles that hinder their academic growth.

Vocational & Skill Development Training

Not every young person can pursue a traditional academic path — and that’s okay. SCF provides hands-on vocational training in areas such as tailoring, ICT, catering, and craftsmanship, helping youth become self-reliant, skilled, and employable.

Educational Advocacy & Awareness Campaigns

We engage parents, educators, and community leaders through sensitization campaigns to emphasize the lifelong value of education and encourage community participation in child development and learning.

School Improvement & Learning Facilities

SCF supports the renovation of schools, provision of learning materials, and creation of conducive environments that inspire students to learn and teachers to teach effectively.
