At SIWCANS Care Foundation (SCF), we understand that a nation’s strength begins with food security and rural empowerment. Sadly, many communities in the Volta Region and beyond suffer from poor agricultural systems, lack of modern farming tools, and limited access to markets and education.

What We Do

Our Agricultural Development Program was established to change this narrative — to uplift farmers, promote sustainable food production, and build prosperous rural economies.

Farmers’ Empowerment Programs

We organize capacity-building workshops and training sessions to educate farmers on modern farming techniques, irrigation systems, crop rotation, pest control, and post-harvest management. We empower them to become self-sufficient and economically stable.

Provision of Tools and Inputs

Many local farmers lack access to essential equipment, fertilizers, and improved seedlings. SCF supports them by providing tools and agricultural inputs that improve productivity and crop yield.

Youth in Agriculture Initiative

We inspire and engage young people to see agriculture as a path to success, not just survival. Through mentorship, agribusiness training, and support for innovative projects, we are raising a new generation of agri-entrepreneurs.

Women in Agriculture

Recognizing the vital role of women in food production, SCF promotes gender equality by supporting women farmers with resources, financial access, and skill development opportunities. We ensure women have equal voices and benefits in agricultural advancement.

Promoting Sustainable Practices

We encourage environmentally friendly and climate-smart agriculture to ensure the protection of our ecosystems while maintaining long-term productivity.
