At SIWCANS Care Foundation (SCF), we believe that a clean environment is the foundation for a healthy and productive life. Unfortunately, many nomadic and rural communities in the Volta Region still struggle with poor sanitation, lack of access to clean water, and unsafe living conditions that affect their well-being and development.

Our Environment & Sanitation Initiative was created to change that reality — to bring hope, health, and dignity to underserved communities by improving their living standards and creating sustainable environmental practices that last.

What We Do

Through awareness campaigns, clean-up programs, and water sanitation projects, we strive to reduce water-borne diseases, protect the environment, and foster community responsibility for hygiene and public health.

Access to Clean Water

We work to ensure that rural and nomadic communities have access to clean and safe drinking water through borehole projects, water purification initiatives, and maintenance education for sustainable water use.

Sanitation & Hygiene Programs

We organize hygiene education sessions and community sanitation drives, empowering residents to maintain clean surroundings and reduce health risks associated with poor waste disposal and contamination.

Safe Living Environments

We collaborate with local authorities and volunteers to create cleaner, safer, and eco-friendly communities. Our programs encourage proper waste management, tree planting, and eco-sustainability to improve air and water quality.

Environmental Awareness

Education is at the heart of what we do. SCF teaches communities about the importance of environmental care, helping them understand that every small action — from planting a tree to keeping surroundings clean — contributes to a healthier planet.
